who helps with :

Educational Background

  • Bachelor of Science (Psychology) - University of Exeter (Present)

He ran a few studies on Cognitive and Clinical Psychology over the last 2 years and he is in pursuit of a career in clinical neuro-psychology. He will be studying an Master of Science in Applied Psychology here in Exeter upon finishing his current degree.

Teaching Approach and Experience

He has roughly 3 years of tutoring experience with students ranging from F3 studying for HKDSE to year 1 psychology student studying for final exams. He also organised a couple workshops previously aimed at improving Hong Kong students' critical thinking skills after recognising the importance of it in tertiary education and workplace.

He emphasises a lot on the logical understanding in comparison to merely memorising specific terminology or theory, regardless of the subject I teach. In fact, he believes a solid foundation does not only aid memorisation,  but is of utmost importance when it comes to learning more sophisticated theories later on. He also adopts an interactive teaching approach and try to tailor his method around my students as each student might have a different way of learning.
